Caverion equips the shopping centre Forum Hanau in Germany with building systems

Caverion Deutschland will be participating in the construction of the shopping centre Forum Hanau by implementing the building systems. Together with construction company Ed. Züblin AG, Caverion will be responsible for the trades of heating, air conditioning, sanitary facilities, room ventilation systems, sprinklers, electrics, and MSR, with a total order volume of about EUR 17 Million.

At the shopping centre Forum Hanau in the city of Hanau near Frankfurt, Caverion Deutschland will install systems with about 2,500 kW of heating power and approximately 4000 kW of cooling power by mid-2015. Ventilation systems will circulate about 500,000 m³ per hour. Fire prevention in all areas will be provided by over 10,000 sprinklers.

The building complex in the Hanau city centre will house a shopping centre with about 22,500 m² of shop areas, the city library, and other public services. It will consist of five buildings that are connected through a shared basement level. There are also about 500 parking spots available on the grounds.
