Caverion re-signed an agreement with the network-providing company Uninett AS to be one of its four designated suppliers for AV solutions. In the previous term the agreement had a turnover of EUR 18 million. The new agreement is expected to be of the same magnitude.
The agreement covers the provision of AV solutions to all 120 colleges and universities in Norway, as well as the maintenance of existing solutions.
Caverion has been one of Uninett's four chosen suppliers for the last four years. This is one of the biggest AV agreements in the country, and includes everything from classrooms and seminar rooms to auditoriums.
“Uninett chose to re-sign Caverion as a supplier for AV equipment based on quality, service and price competitiveness. Caverion has over 30 years of experience in planning, operating and maintaining audiovisual solutions, which will continue to benefit Uninett,” says Stian Aarstad, Head of the AV Department at Caverion Norge.
Uninett develops and operates the Norwegian national research and education network, a high-capacity computer network interconnecting about 200 Norwegian educational and research institutions and more than 300 000 users, as well as giving them access to international research networks.
