Caverion receives EUR 6 million installation agreement from Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany
Caverion has entered into a contract with the building and real estate management authority of North Rhine Westphalia (BLB NRW), in the framework of a consortium. Caverion will be creating a turnkey technology engineering room for the Heinrich-Heine University, Düsseldorf. An existing engineering room is also to be refurbished. Caverion will be responsible for the building services for sanitation, heating, ventilation, cooling and building automation. The total contract value is EUR 6 million. The work is scheduled to start in April and will be completed in summer 2016.
As well as installation, the contract also covers execution planning and site coordination for the plant rooms. Caverion will be providing for example oil-free turbo refrigerating, hybrid coolers and two cooling towers. The heating supply will come from district heating.
The consortium partners Oertel&Prümm GmbH & Co. KG, will be responsible for the electrics, and the construction company Hans Lamers GmbH & Co KG will take charge of the structural work.
