Caverion to provide a total technical solution for the BW Tower office building in Lahti, Finland

Caverion has been awarded a contract worth EUR 3.5 million to deliver a total technical solution for the BW Tower office building, parking garage and robotic parking garage.

The contract includes design & engineering as well as project execution. The delivery will cover all technical building systems, including heating and sanitation, ventilation and air-conditioning, cooling, electricity, information and communication services, security and safety, and automation.

In addition to the office building’s contract, a ServiFlex agreement has been signed for the technical service and maintenance of the building.

Construction work began in June. The office building, parking garage and robotic parking garage are due for completion in late October 2015.

YIT, the developer of the property, is going to apply for a LEED environmental certificate for the office building. The building will exploit renewable energy, such as solar power.
