Caverion and Outokumpu have signed an agreement on the technical maintenance and managed operations for Outokumpu Tornio mills’ properties. The total floor area in the properties covered by the 5-year agreement amounts to more than 550,000 square metres and approximately 7.8 million cubic metres. The value of the agreement will not be disclosed.
At the Tornio mill, Caverion will be responsible for the technical maintenance of all building systems, maintenance of the buildings , as well as for all managed operations in relation to these. The building systems include heating and sanitation, ventilation and air-conditioning, cooling, electricity, information and communication technology, security and safety and automation. The agreement marks a continuation to the cooperation started in 2010, when Outokumpu outsourced the Tornio mills property services business to Caverion.
