Caverion will continue to be responsible for delivering technical management services for the retail properties of Finnish Groceries I Ky, managed by the Finnish asset management company Trevian Asset Management Oy. The cooperation, which started in 2019, will continue with a new agreement.
The grocery store properties owned by Finnish Groceries I Ky are located around Finland, with primary tenants comprising Kesko and regional S-Group cooperatives.
Aside from managing the technical maintenance services and repairs, Caverion’s services include technical consultation and project management. Caverion has been supporting Trevian in its long-term strategic planning of property maintenance. Long-term maintenance plans have been created for the properties, including planned renovations to improve energy efficiency.
According to Olli-Pekka Randelin, Trevian's Portfolio Manager, a proactive approach to managing a portfolio of grocery stores has been created together with the Caverion experts.
"It is important to us that our tenants, both Kesko and S Group, can realise their own ambitious goals as responsible grocers. With the renovation and refurbishment of the sites and energy efficiency in good hands, further lease negotiations have gone smoothly," Randelin continues.
"We are delighted that our customer trusts us and that our multi-year partnership continues. We achieved the goals we set together and our services will continue to ensure more sustainable and value-enhancing operations," says Laura Karotie, Vice President, Managed Services at Caverion Finland.
